JUNEAU, Alaska – House Republican leaders today responded to Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s State of the State speech.

“The unanimous vote this morning in joint session is an example of how the House Republican Caucus is intent on working together to find solutions to our current budget outlook,” Minority Leader Rep. DeLena Johnson, R-Palmer, said. “The House Republican Caucus is ready to collaborate with Gov. Dunleavy and legislative colleagues to advance solutions that promote long-term fiscal stability for Alaska.”

“As Republicans, we strongly believe in resource development,” Minority Whip Rep. Justin Ruffridge, R-Soldotna, said. “Alaskan families and individuals recognize how important this is for our long-term economic success.
