STATEMENT:
We are at a turning point in Alaska, where shaping a vision for our future through effective leadership and responsible government is critical. It is important for our future to have representation that will fight for our values. I will listen to your needs and work to develop solutions that work for all Alaskans. To meet the educational needs of our children, I will advocate for quality education outcomes and support innovative approaches that set our kids on a path to success. Let’s prepare Alaska’s children for a thriving Alaskan economy. We have tremendous opportunities for energy development; when developed, we will have energy independence, sustainable and affordable power, new industries, and improved job opportunities. Finding solutions for housing is another key priority. Ensuring affordable, safe, and accessible housing options will help retain our workforce and strengthen our communities. The Alaska Marine Highway System is a vital part of our livelihoods and economy. Solutions for the long-term stability include modernizing the system to meet our ongoing needs. Our fishing industry is the lifeblood of our coastal communities, and I am committed to protecting it against threats that impact commercial and subsistence fishing. My experiences as a Veteran, working as a leader in energy, serving in local government, and many years of working with diverse groups of people have prepared me for this challenge. I humbly ask for your support in bringing forward leadership and vision for our future.
YOU SENT US HERE TO WORK FOR YOU.
