Representative Bill Elam and his wife, Sandra, are raising their three sons on the Kenai Peninsula, where their family is proud to call home. Like many Peninsula families, they spend much of their time outdoors hunting, fishing, and exploring Alaska’s wilderness together. He represents the residents of the Kenai Peninsula in the Alaska House of Representatives and previously served on the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly, where he worked to represent local priorities and community values.

Throughout his professional career in technology and infrastructure, Elam has held a variety of leadership roles across the private sector, including work with complex healthcare systems, telecommunications, and small businesses. That experience informs a practical approach to legislative work focused on fiscal responsibility, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public resources. His work in the legislature reflects a commitment to strong communities, responsible development of Alaska’s natural resources, and maintaining stable institutions that support Alaska’s long-term future.
