Mike Prax was born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, and lives in North Pole, Alaska. Prax graduated from Lathrop High School in Fairbanks in 1974. His career experience includes owning Prospector Outfitters and working as an operations technician with Alyeska Pipeline Service Company.
