OTHER:
As a 30+ year registered Republican, I have a consistent record of upholding Republican values on the FNSB Assembly and State House. I am a long-time Alaskan with strong family values. 2025 will mark my 30-year anniversary to my wife, Harmony. We have five children, all born at FMH, two daughters-in-law, two grandchildren, a family dog, and a cat. I believe in servant leadership, which is expressed by volunteering and engaging in my community.
STATEMENT:
I believe in Freedom and Opportunity for all Alaskans. My 45 years in Fairbanks has helped me to understand the unique needs and challenges in our community. I’ve worked hard to address the specific issues and concerns in a fiscally responsible way. Effectively advocating for the people of Alaska requires balancing work and family life. I worked successfully for you. I secured funding for: an elevator and generator for Salcha Seniors, the new 200-acre Veterans Cemetery, and funding for our local road service areas. I stood up to big corporate interests to protect consumers and working Alaskans’ wages, and I voted for increased classroom funding for students and teachers. I am proud that we were able to extend homeschooling for a year while the courts went through their process. I support teachers, students, homeschoolers, and parents working together for better academic success. Every Alaskan is important to me, and I want to continue promoting healthy and renewable growth for Alaska. Having the right fundamental priorities in place is necessary for the continued growth and development of our community. Every Alaskan deserves the opportunity to chase the American dream in Alaska.
Continued Priorities:
Promote Economic Growth in the Private Sector
Promote Efficient, Measured Use of State Resources
Advocate Quality Education with Accountability
Uphold Family Values
Uphold Individual Freedoms
Full PFD According to Statutes
Defend Alaska from Federal Overreach
Protect our 2nd Amendment Rights
